Welcome to the Swarclett Wind Farm project website.
Wind2 is developing proposals for a 2 turbine wind energy scheme, located on land approximately 11km south east of Thurso, Scotland, around 4km north of Loch Watten, near Hoy. It is anticipated that the 2-turbine project will also include a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and have a total installed capacity of around 20 megawatts (MW).
With staff based in Edinburgh, Perthshire and the Highlands, as well as Wales, the Wind2 team has significant expertise in renewable energy and a track record of successfully developing onshore wind projects throughout the UK.
